Our Story

Black Rose Media was founded by Axel Hernandez, a Director of Photography and cinematographer with experience working with brands across the country. What started as a passion for visual storytelling grew into a full-service production company built around one mission: helping businesses grow through high-quality video.

    Axel Hernandez is a Director of Photography and cinematographer based in Los Angeles. With extensive experience in commercial, brand, and narrative production, Axel has shot for brands including Travis Mathew, Justin Alexander, Vitamasques, Synergy Kombucha, and more.

    His work spans commercials, fashion campaigns, product launches, and music videos. He brings the same cinematic attention to detail to a local business commercial as he does to a national brand campaign.

    Axel founded Black Rose Media to give businesses across Southern California access to the kind of high-quality production usually reserved for major brands.
